Me and my First World Problems

  My blood sugar is crashing, but what else is new whenever I start queuing up a few posts round these parts.  I'm also ripping and tagging another dozen Minnesota discs in other windows while I do this. Here's where the frustration sets in. There's a few extra steps involved because they're usually not in the database accessed by the software I use to rip the discs. That means that I have to look them up individually on Discogs and do some voodoo to get the proper tags together along with some manual entry and filename changes. On top of that most of the cover scans are not up to my usual standards, so I know there's at least another couple of hours of scans that I'll need to do as well as upload the improvements to Discogs as part of my contribution to things there. It's all very First World Problems, but I'm cranky tonight and the cat is sitting on the table right by my desk here and trying to stare me into feeding her. Summer's Eve (2007) One of ...

  I'm very groggy still. I had a short nap and I'm having some coffee, but it's not really helping. I got my second shot the other day and it fucked me up pretty hard. I mean, the first one got me to call into work. The second was like a 24 hour trip back to COVIDtown only, I swear, even worse. I ended up mostly sleeping in short bursts for a day and night. Sleep for an hour, be barely awake for twenty minutes or so and then crashing again. All the while feeling like absolute death. But according to what I've read up, if you've had COVID, the vaccine hits you a whole lot fucking harder than everyone else. I will attest to that. On the plus side, I'm vaccinated. The wife has had her first. The cat doesn't care. the Red Flags (2007) I can't seem to locate this particular disc. It's around here somewhere in one pile or another of compact discs sitting around cluttering up the place until I can get my ass to Ikea and buy some more fucking Cd shelves. I n...
